A few words about Cobra soccer from the Director:
The CUSC way is to build the skills, confidence and athletic aspects of all of our athletes in our competitive program through a comprehensive soccer program based on learning the technical skills necessary to play the game at a high level and for the long term.
Competitive Leagues in Ottawa
CUSC operates competitive youth teams in 4 different leagues depending on the age and ability level of the athlete.
> The EODSA league is an entry level competitive league for players age U9 to U15. The ODL is a separate league operated by the EODSA and designed to adhere to the OSA Long Term Development Program for players age U9 and U10.
> The ERSL is for higher level players age U13 to U18
> The OYSL is the highest level league in Ontario; the CUSC will operate 1 Boys U16 team in this league.
Relationship to OSA Pyramid of Play
All leagues operate in divisions based upon the OSA’s pyramid of play. The EODSA operates Level 5 and 6 teams. The ERSL operates Level 3 and 4 teams. The OYSL is a Level 1 league only.
