Junior Academy U8

The Junior Academy is a program for the most focused, and dedicated U7-U8 players. Selected players will train/play twice weekly with our Academy coaches to help develop their skills and understanding of the game, while participating in our fun but competitive "champions league" games on Saturday mornings. Mini festivals (tournaments) against other clubs in the region will be hosted and attended periodically as well.

All U8 players at CUSC are evaluated throughout the Spring Festival Series in order to help balance both our Development league, as well as our Jr Academy. Training twice weekly with Academy coaches and team coaches (weeknights). Friendly "champions league" games on Saturday mornings. Festivals against other clubs throughout the season (these are 60-75 minute events). |

Training: April 10 - May 10: Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:00-6:00 PM at Millennium Turf May 15 - September 5: Mondays and Wednesdays 5:45-7:00 PM at millennium park
Games: April - May 10: Spring Festival Series (See schedule above) May 15 - September: Saturday mornings 8:30 AM-10:00 AM. All Junior Academy games and practices are held at Millennium Park, with the sole exception of some festivals/tournaments hosted by other clubs across the Ottawa region. There is a two week break mid summer from Julye 23 to August 5 |

Junior Academy Fee: $230 (Payable once accepted to the Junior Academy program) Must be registered in the following Programs prior to registering for the Junior Academy: Non-Volunteer fee: $50 per family (mandatory fee, refundable after volunteering) Includes training uniform and Game uniform and ball
