U5-U7 Development Program

Last Edited: January 2018

Program Description

Detailed Program Overview of the U5-U7 Development Program.

At this stage, individual player development is paramount. Coaches and teachers stimulate a learning environment where the atmosphere is "Freedom and Fun."

All sessions are run on Friday evenings, and use Ontario Soccer's preferred Game-Station-Game-Station format, where the kids move between skills development exercises and small sided games on a rotational basis.  This maximizes their concentration, their touches and development on the ball, and ultimately their enjoyment of each session.

For young players who are falling in love with the game and looking for some extra touches and training each week, you have the option of benefitting from the Academy Grassroots Training which includes technical development and games run by the club's technical staff and our best technical assistant coaches.

These extra sessions will run on Wednesday nights through the summer.  Please visit the  Academy Grassroots Training for details and registration for this extra session.
