The Professional Keeper clinic is a 18 session program for the more committed keepers in the club who seek regular, season long training. The sessions will allow competitive keepers to train with a world class, UEFA licensed GK trainer, and gain invaluable skills and insight into playing this crucial position.
Whether you are a seasoned GK at CUSC, or a young player interested in learning this position, this clinic will help you to learn and sharpen your basics, as well as diving into the various nuances and details of playing this specialized position.
Keepers in this program will be grouped by ability rather than purely by age, and these groupings will be determined by an evaluation process at the beginning of the program.
Vlad, our GK coach, is one of the most dynamic, qualified and talented goal keeper coaches in the province, and since joining the club in 2014 has already made a massive impact on the keepers in the club.
The first few sessions of the program will serve as an evaluation period to sort out groups. New keepers joining the program after regular evaluations will be evaluated during their first training sessions.
The program will run for 18 sessions, starting in April. Once fields open in mid-May, the sessions will be on Fridays. The April and early May schedule will be based on field availability and will vary.
See Registration Site for details of the Registration Fees for this Program.
Please note that participation in this program also makes you eligbile for the CUSC Goalkeeper Retention Policy.
