Please note that in order for you to take the Senior Community Coaching Certificate, you must produce proof of your completion of the YOUTH COURSE when you attend the course. All COBRA coaches must have Senior Community Certification to be on the Team Roster.

CUSC will be hosting a SENIOR COMMUNITY COACH Clinic on:

On Saturday May 24, 2008 and Saturday May 31, 2008 at Sir Wilfred Laurier High School in the Cafeteria please email technicaldirector@cumberlandsoccer.com for more details and registration.  The CUSC will reimburse the costs of the course upon submitting proof of successful completion of the course and receipt of funds paid.  NOTE:  (You must be coaching for the CUSC during the 2008 season.)

COACHING ACCORDING TO PLAYER DEVELOPMENT NEEDS

It is important that all coaches understand player development needs at all ages. Each course is designed with various stages (age) of development in mind.
INTRODUCTION TO COACHING - THE COMMUNITY COACH CERTIFICATE

CHILDREN'S COURSE

Coaches Working with children 5- 8 years should complete Community Youth One

YOUTH COURSE

Coaches working with Youth players 9 - 12 years should complete up to and including the Youth Two Community Coach Course

Senior Course

Coaches working with Senior and/or Competitive players 12-18 years must complete up to and including the Community Senior Course
