This past weekend 5 of our 97s and 96s participated in the final selections for the Danone Cup National team in Montreal and Toronto. Mike Rouleau, Jadan Chayra, Quinn Mahony, Rowan Harris, and Miranda Smith were invited to the final selection back in September when they were identified as some of the best soccer players in the region.  

The team was released to today for Eastern Canada and Miranda Smith was selected to the final team. She will be participating in a training camp and playing in front of 20000 fans at the BMO Field on July 19th against the Western Team with the winner going to Spain to represent Canada and the Danone Nations Cup for U11 and U12 players.

Again, I think it is important we congratulate all these players that made it too the final selection as they had the opportunity to play with some of the best players in the country. We should be proud of our development program and coaches that made it possible for these young players to make it to this level.
